We've got some bad news for Canadian FIDLAR fans who were looking forward to seeing the band at this weekend's WayHome Festival: the act have been forced to pull out of the performance because vocalist Zac Carper has a "serious" throat infection.

The generally party-ready L.A. pop-punk outfit explained the situation today (July 21) through their Facebook page. If the sad emoji face affixed to the post on Facebook wasn't clear enough, the band noted that they were pretty bummed to have to bail on their WayHome performance in Oro-Medonte, ON, on Friday (July 22), as well as a stop the next day at the MoPop Festival in Detroit.

The group haven't cancelled any other dates, with the next performance set to take place at Chicago's Lollapalooza on July 31. While rescheduled dates in Detroit and Toronto should be announced sometime in the future, you can catch the current info on FIDLAR's "Too Much Tour" over here.

While it may just be pouring salt in the wound for Ontarian FIDLAR fans, you can read last month's Exclaim! review of the band's seriously fun Levitation Vancouver set over here.
