Feist Looks To Fans For Charitable Donations on Canadian Tour

Feist may be off to Greenland, but it seems not even the ice-cold Arctic winds can chill her warm heart. The beloved Canadian songstress has announced that she is pairing up with some major charities to dish out a hefty load of goodwill on her upcoming fall tour.

First off, Feist has partnered with the Canadian Association of Food Banks, whose local affiliates will be collecting food donations at each of the songwriter's up-and-coming tour stops. Concertgoers are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to the night's venue, where food bank representatives will be accepting donations and shipping them off to those in need. Also, at each show, one fan will win "a very special piece of limited Feist memorabilia,” which has been custom-made for the food drive winners.

Also, to deliver a bit more charitable love, all of the proceeds made at Feist's merch table will be going to CARE Canada, Doctors Without Borders and War Child Canada, meaning you can give yourself an extra-good excuse for dropping some cash on a rock tee or an album or two.

Here are Feist's upcoming tour dates, which all comes with fellow Canadian Hayden filling the opening slot:
