Feaze

Morning Wood

BY Christopher WatersPublished Dec 1, 1999

A disc of great teenage indie rock that recalls the spirit 1992 — scrappy, political and fun, fun, fun. This trio, which sounds like Tsunami in its ballads and Jale in its short, sharp, shock numbers, says is "We're on a mission to save the world one song at a time." After repeated listening to the Urbana girl group's 12-track debut, call me a believer.
