Cannibal Corpse

Any fan of aggressive music will know the name Cannibal Corpse. The death metal mainstays have embarked on a lengthy tour, supporting their most recent release, A Skeletal Domain. Although this band have been slinging crushing riffs and pounding puny humans into dust for almost 30 years, their live performance is still as ferocious and relentless as the glory days. Check them out when roll through Western Canada into the Prairies this week.

Napalm Death

As if Cannibal Corpse weren't enough of a reason to jump in a mosh pit this week, British grindcore veterans Napalm Death will be storming across Canada as a part of their North American tour. The heavy-hitting quartet are supporting their Earth-shattering record Apex Predator – Easy Meat, which was released at the end of last month. Check them out on the dates below.

Father John Misty

If you are in need of something light, airy and soulful, Father John Misty is your man. Having just released his album I Love You, Honeybear, Josh Tillman is taking the set across North America, making two Canadian stops along the way. His new material finds Tillman branching out, employing sweeping melodies and beautiful orchestral arrangements, honing his overall sound into something much more varied and dynamic. Be sure to catch his live performance at his Toronto and Montreal stopovers.

Rich Homie Quan

Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan will be hitting Canada this week with a string of tour dates in a number of cities. Quan's auto tune-tinged brand of rap over hard hitting beats makes for an energetic and entertaining live show, during which you can find most of his posse onstage alongside him. You're sure to hear some of his massively popular singles like "Type of Way" and "Walk Thru" at these shows, so be sure to make it out to one when he's in your neighbourhood.
