It's Thursday, which means the latest edition of our weekly Can't Miss Concerts segment is here to help you decide where exactly you'll be devoting your musical attention this week, April 14 to 20. There are a wide variety of performances going down across the country but as per usual, we're here to help you make an informed and inspired decision. Find our picks for the best shows hitting the Great White North this week below; if you can't find something just right, head over to our complete Concert Listings pages for even more to choose from.

Bleached

Having just released their sophomore album Welcome the Worms on April 1, it's about time we welcomed the presumably less-slimy L.A. punks Bleached as well. Watch the Clavin sisters' colourful locks whirl as they head-bang their way through Montreal and Toronto this week.

04/16/2016 Montreal, QC – Bar Le Ritz PDB
04/17/2016 Toronto, ON – The Garrison

Daniel Caesar

After delivering his seven-song masterpiece of an EP, Pilgrim's Paradise, last November, Toronto native Daniel Caesar is ready to perform his debut concert in his hometown. If you manage to snag a ticket to this sold-out gig, we assure you you're in for a soulful aural treat.

04/15/2016 Toronto, ON – The Mod Club

Father John Misty

Father John Misty is visiting Torontonians this week to revel in his sarcastic lullabies and equally odd persona. Of course, this one's been sold out for a while now, but that doesn't mean we can't show our support for those who managed to snag a seat. If the show is anything like his recent Vancouver gig, fans are in for Josh Tillman "slithering around the stage, flamboyantly gesticulating to emphasize every line and falling to his knees to croon into the faces in the front row."

04/20/2016 Toronto, ON – Massey Hall

Jordan Klassen

With Javelin in tow, Jordan Klassen is ready to spear all of our indie-pop loving hearts with his latest musical endeavour. We assure you that this is purely a metaphor, and that those attending one of the two dates below are in no danger of experiencing any bodily harm.

04/14/2016 Calgary, AB – The Gateway (SAIT)
04/19/2016 Rossland, BC – The Flying Steamshovel

Paul McCartney

Paul McCartney is hitting up Vancouver on his One on One tour with a pair of dates to make sure his fans in the North are duly satisfied. Promising everything from Beatles-era material to his more recent solo work, this one is sure to be a doozy — and who knows, this may be your last chance to catch him live before his acting career undoubtedly blows up thanks to his role in the forthcoming Pirates of the Caribbean.
