Father John Misty "True Affection" / "Nothing Good Ever Happens at the Goddamn Thirsty Crow" (live on 'Meyers')
Former Fleet Foxes drummer Joshua Tillman returned as Father John Misty earlier this year, delivering his excellent sophomore solo effort I Love You, Honeybear. Still promoting the recent record, the singer-songwriter appeared as the musical guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night (May 18).

He opened his television performance with a synthed-out, neon-lit, falsetto-heavy rendition of "True Affection," using the instrumental break to dance like a man possessed.

For his second song in the spotlight, he toned things down; he picked up an acoustic guitar and led his band through the gorgeous twang of "Nothing Good Ever Happens at the Goddamn Thirsty Crow."

I Love You, Honeybear is out now via Sub Pop. Watch Father John Misty perform "True Affection" and "Nothing Good Ever Happens at the Goddamn Thirsty Crow" in the players below.
