"I Loved You, Honeybee"

Record Store Day is this Saturday (April 18), meaning that many artists have spent the day sharing digital previews of the vinyl releases that will be coming to stores tomorrow. This includes Father John Misty, who has shared the A-side of his red, heart-shaped 7-inch "I Loved You, Honeybee."

"I Loved You, Honeybee" is an alternate version of the title track from Misty's stunning new album I Love You, Honeybear. It sounds a whole lot like the album cut, except that the drums are taken out, so the arrangement is all acoustic strums and romantic strings.

Listen along to the heart-shaped vinyl below. The single will arrive through Sub Pop and comes backed with an unreleased cut called "I've Never Been a Woman."
