Though the members of Vancouver outfit Fantasy Prom have spent time in a number of local acts (the Black Halos, Yung Mums, Mete Pills), the shoegazing duo have just made their proper debut via the release of their Glistening EP.
The four-song offering was cooked up by vocalist Amelia Fudalewski and multi-instrumentalist Richie Fudalewski, with distortion-soaked gems like the rocking, if gently sung, title track and "All Over You All Over Me" bringing to mind Lush, My Bloody Valentine and even the spacier side of Sonic Youth.
