Falls River Fiends

Falls River Fiends

This record promises "100 percent punk rock’n’fucking roll, muthas!" and it pretty much delivers on that claim. The sound here is straight-ahead hardcore with an Earth A.D.-era Misfits influence and features raunched-out lead vocals by Sinisters member and general ne'er-do-well Troy Sinister. If you’re familiar with some of the Sinisters harder material, then this stuff isn’t too much of a departure. The playing is as heavy and intense as the loud production and songs like "Dead City Radio" are easily as good as any stuff coming out of the Epitaph camp these days. I may be a senior citizen now (in rock years, anyway) but I think the kids could really get into this stuff.
