Fallout

Ontario

The second record from Toronto's Fallout continues in the 1977 punk-meets-new school sound they showed off on their seven-song debut two years ago. Stripped down to a three-piece, this is a bit more polished, and the blend of old and new works sporadically on this. The faster songs are a little out of place, but they really shine on the mid-tempo numbers, which fans of the Clash and Stiff Little Fingers would enjoy. If they stuck to the old school sound throughout this CD, it would be a lot more solid. There are 14 songs, including a decent version of the Clash's "Garageland."
