Fallout

Dismantlement

The Fallout have been bringing their brand of ’70s-inspired punk rock to the masses for a few years now. Their sound is reminiscent of some of the earlier punk bands like Stiff Little Fingers or possibly the Clash. The political lyrics contained within this disc seem more educated than many bands’, while the songs are short and bounce along at a decent pace. The one criticism I have is that the vocals don’t seem to have much punch. It would be nice to hear the vocalist open up and yell a little bit more often; it would breathe some life into the songs. But this is a good record. "Meat Market” is a particularly catchy song with solid lyrics and a chorus that will have you singing along before you even know the words.
