Fake Shark - Real Zombie! Working With Skinny Puppy's Dave Oglivie

Langley, BC-based weird-core quartet Fake Shark – Real Zombie! have announced their plans to record the follow-up to their debut, Zebra! Zebra!. This time around, the band will be working with former Skinny Puppy member and producer Dave Ogilvie. Joining them in the studio will be engineer Phil Western, who previously worked with Ogilvie on Nine Inch Nails’ Things Fall Apart.

The band have made a habit of finding fans in odd places. They have previously toured with Test Icicles, Mindless Self Indulgence, and Klaxons, and count Henry Rollins among their fans. They’re so popular in Japan that a Japanese HMV once had a cardboard cut-out of each member on display.
