Faith No More Planning U.S. Tour

BY Greg PrattPublished Oct 21, 2009

American Faith No More fans, get ready to crap your pants: the recently reunited band will be playing your country sometime soon.

Details are vague to non-existent, but bassist Billy Gould recently tweeted this (all typos his): "Tweet THIS: In response to all of our concerned US brethren...YES...we yare now actively planning US dates."

Keyboardist Roddy Bottum followed up with a tweet of his own, writing, "Reiterating comrade @MRGOULD claim... USA dates will happen. seriously, you thought they might not? cmon..."

Despite being bummed over reprinting these grammatical atrocities, we're extremely excited that Faith No More's shows, which so far have just been overseas, are getting closer to home.

No word yet on any Canadian shows, but consider this a plea from weirdoes across Canada, FNM. Get your asses up here.

Faith No More's last album was 1997's Album of the Year. The band broke up the following year (just before a tour with Aerosmith, which is one of history's great what if's); they reunited in February of this year.
