What did you do on New Year's Eve? Edmonton duo Faith Healer rang in the decade by releasing a new track, appropriately titled "2020."
The song is available in two versions: an "Original Mix" that's 2:20, and an "Extended Mix" that clocks in at a very dank 4:20. Unlike the '70s-style pop rock that the band usually deal in, "2020" features bouncy electro-funk grooves, dizzying rhythmic twists, squawking horn breaks, and tight harmonies from band members Jessica Jalbert and Renny Wilson.
Listen to both versions below.
Faith Healer shared the song on social media without comment, so it remains to be seen if this is a one-off or a hint at a new album. The band's most recent LP was 2017's Try ;-).
