Factor Chandelier and Cadence Weapon Team Up for "Underground"

The producer's 'First Storm' album arrives in April

Having sought to get in the studio together for around five years, Factor Chandelier and Cadence Weapon have now shared a collaborative cut set to appear on the former's forthcoming full-length album First Storm.

The two collide on "Underground," which you can hear in the player below. Cadence Weapon brings the energy that Factor's airy, urgent production demands, declaring in the hook, "Underground, so low, can't see / Know my name, but they don't know me."

In a statement, the producer recalled, "Cadence Weapon stopped into Chandelier Studios in Saskatoon while on tour and recorded this long overdue collaboration... W e sat down in the studio and got right to it, I worked on the track while the tour made its way in town."

"I wanted to make something high energy to complement his ferocious style and he matched it perfectly. We've known each other a long time and have been talking about collaborating on a track since around 2014. This one came together naturally and was worth the wait."

First Storm is set to arrive April 15 through Fake Four Inc. and also features frequent collaborators Myka 9, Kay the Aquanaut, Mestizo, Dope KNife, Onry Ozzborn, Nomad and Taylor Jade.
