"Four for the Road" (ft. Jeff Spec, Ghettosocks, Timbuktu and Muneshine)

BY Matthew RitchiePublished Jul 18, 2014

It's not like you needed any more evidence that Friday was the best day of the week. But just in case you do, Saskatoon-based beatmaker Factor (a.k.a. Graham Murawsky) has delivered another offering as part of his Factor Friday's Single Series, which finds the in-demand producer delivering a new jam every month.

We've already heard six tracks in the series, including last month's Evil Ebenezer-assisted "Paul Giamatti," but it appears Murawsky is pulling out all the stops for his latest effort. Listen to the star-studded "Four for the Road," which features performances from Jeff Spec, Ghettosocks, Timbuktu and Muneshine, at the bottom of the page.

Originally recorded during a routine stop on the Via Rail-sponsored Train of Thought Tour in 2011, the track was laid to tape in a single day, with Factor producing the beat and his accomplices laying down each of his vocals in under 24 hours.

With each artist getting his own spot in the limelight, listen as the homegrown hip-hop stars trade verses amongst Murawsky's happy-go-luck throwback beat.

Stream "Four for the Road" now in the player below, and don't forget to check back in August to hear another track from Factor's monthly single series.

As previously reported, Factor is currently out on a Canadian tour, and you can see his remaining dates here.
