The F-Holes Line Up Sophomore LP, Canadian Summer Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 2, 2011

Gently rocking ragtime enthusiasts the F-Holes have announced the late-August release of their sophomore set, Angel in the Corner, and will be on tour all summer long promoting the disc.

The Winnipeg-based band's follow-up to 2009's self-titled effort finds them playing up their patented blend of country and roots music, with new tunes like "Even Stevens" and "Up for a While" showcasing their "unmistakable cheeky, Dixieland sound," according to the press release. You can check out a studio clip of the group getting down to the latter, a rousing an instrumental cut, below.

The F-Holes will be celebrating their new songs with a summer tour, having started the cross-Canada jaunt last week. The band will be making their way around Ontario and Quebec for the next little bit before hitting up an album release show in the 'Peg. Following that, they'll make their way out west. You can check out the tour schedule below.
