When Texas-based post-rockers Explosions in the Sky announced their latest effort, Take Care, Take Care, Take Care, the long-running outfit also released info on a handful of tour dates. Regrettably, for those of us living on their home continent, the bulk of the dates were to take place in Europe. But it turns out all that worrying about when you'd see the group next was all for naught: the band will be hitting North America this fall.
While Explosions in the Sky have some shows scattered across the United States and Europe this summer, their schedule doesn't kick into overdrive until their tour opener, September 1 at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson, AZ. As for Canadian dates, the band will be making their way to Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto, in that order. Baltimore-based duo Wye Oak will open a number of shows. Pre-sale seats can be picked up via the group's fan club starting Wednesday (May 25), with tickets available to the general public this Friday (May 27).
