As the leaves change colour and the temperature cools there's no doubting fall is upon us. Marking the changing of the seasons is the latest issue of Exclaim! Magazine, making its way onto newsstands all across Canada and is now online here.

This month's cover artist is Vancouver's You Say Party! We Say Die!, who are hot on the heels of releasing their third album, XXXX, and preparing for a six-week cross-country tour. Check out the story to read how a band on the verge of throwing in the towel bounced back to release what critics are calling their finest album to date.

Exclaim!'s Points section also features tons of talented artists this month, including Girls, Despised Icon and Islands, as well as Jahdan Blakkamoore, We Are Wolves and TV on the Radio offshoot Rain Machine.

Celebrating the release of their new book, Our Noise: The Story of Merge Records, label founders Laura Ballance and Mac McCaughan took time to fill out our monthly Questionnaire, while Exclaim! chronicled the legendary career of songwriter Kris Kristofferson in this month's Timeline.

And as always, campuses and classrooms are unnecessary for Exclaim!'s Music School section, where you can learn how to get blog love. Plus, we talk with music publisher and blogger Chris Budd and, in Where I Play, meet up with banjo-loving Old Man Luedecke.

Also, our web exclusive Conversations section has a ton of Q&A's with such artists as Little Boots, Megadeth's Dave Mustaine, Moneen's Kenny Bridges, Brand New, Nick Cave and Neu!'s Michael Rother.

And of course, our October issue is jam-packed with all the latest music, film and videogame reviews, plus plenty more for your reading pleasure.
