It's Friday, which means that another weekend of moviegoing has arrived, and along with that comes new movies. So before you head off to the cottage early tomorrow morning, you should stop by the theatre tonight to check out a new flick. But before that, click over to Exclaim!'s Recently Reviewed section, where we have you covered with reviews of the latest films to help you decide which ones require your immediate viewing attention.

Our recommendation this week is director Michael Mann's Public Enemies. The film ventures back to the 1930s Depression era and the sensationalized crime of anti-hero John Dillinger (played by Johnny Depp), which sees him back in action as a bank-robbing, jail-breaking "public enemy."

Also up for your viewing needs this week is the Michael Bay-directed, action-packed Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The film encompasses the teaming up of the Autobots and the U.S. military in order to fight the Decepticons, and features young acting duo Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox.

Additionally, we have reviews of CHERI, featuring Michelle Pfeiffer as an aging courtesan in early 20th century France, the Woody Allen comedy Whatever Works and The Girlfriend Experience, the story of a high-class call girl in NYC.
