Eternal Husbands Hit the Road for Canadian Tour

The City Streets have called it a day, and some of the band's members are now making music as Eternal Husbands. Following the new project's 2013 self-titled EP, audiences will be able to get further aquatinted with Eternal Husbands this spring when they hit the road for a Canadian tour.

The outing kicks off next week and runs through to the beginning of June. In that time, they will start things off in Toronto, head out to the Maritimes and eventually travel all the way back to the West Coast.

The trip is structured around a three-day studio session at Vancouver's Rain City Recorders with Jesse Gander (Japandroids, White Lung). They will be recording an album there, so the tour will presumably give them a chance to roadtest the tunes.

The trip is amusingly called "8 Days in May* Tour," with the asterisk signifying that one of the shows is actually in June. See the schedule below.

Tour dates:

05/20 Toronto, ON - Magpie
05/22 Sydney, NS - Governers'
05/23 Halifax, NS - Gus' Pub
05/24 Fredericton, NB - The Capital
05/26 Montreal, QC - Casa del Popolo
05/30 Vancouver, BC - The Railway Club
06/01 Edmonton, AB - Wunderbar
