With the arrival of her long-awaited New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh, neo-soul singer Erykah Badu has been attracting a ton of attention lately, much of it to do with the legal ramifications of her naked "Window Seat" video. Now she's looking to stay in the public eye with a North American tour.
First, Badu will kick off her shows with an appearance in Tobago, Trinidad, later this week. Then, she'll pop into the United States for some shows, before teaming up with the Lilith Fair tour for Canadian stops in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. From the looks of it, though, Badu will not be appearing at the Montreal festival on July 23 or the Toronto one on July 24.
