Eric Clapton Caught the Biggest Salmon of the Year in Iceland
Whatever you did with your weekend probably wasn't nearly as impressive as the activities of Eric Clapton. After all, the celebrated blues rocker managed to catch a record-breaking salmon in an Icelandic river.

Above you'll see a picture of Clapton holding up the salmon (and, in our dreams, singing, "Lay Down, Salmy").

According to local reports [via Vulture], the captured fish was measured to be the biggest catch of the year. It required Clapton and a guide to run along the river for two and a half hours to land the beast of a fish.

Fortunately the salmon won't be spilling any tears in heaven, as the fish was released soon after it was caught. At least Clapton got to pose for the epic photo.
