Jessica Delisle and Jay Arner have recently spent their time oozing out the jams as Energy Slime, both on their 2014 self-titled 7-inch and through a regular tour schedule. Today, Exclaim! is happy to premiere the video for their dreamy track "After Tonight (It Will Never Be Night)."
The clip was filmed by Tough Age's Lauren Smith during the recent Tough Slime tour, and sees Energy Slime posting up in the desert.
Speaking with Exclaim!, Delisle explains the inspiration behind the clip. "Well it's pretty simple," she says. "We shot it in half an hour on a whim on tour. We were driving from Salt Like City to Las Vegas, and I always forget on that highway you drive through a tiny corner of Arizona. None of the highway exits have any services and it's real pretty so we were like, 'Let's shoot a video on our way to a show.'"
