Theatrical electronic pop outfit Empire of the Sun are preparing to pack up their costumes and head to North America later this year, as the Aussie duo have confirmed a string of dates on the West Coast for September.
The schedule is currently rather sparse, as it consists of four shows in slightly more than a week. They will play U.S. dates in Denver, San Francisco and Los Angeles, plus a lone Canadian show in Vancouver.

Meanwhile, Empire of the Sun are apparently working on a new album. Back in November, band member Nick Littlemore announced on Twitter that it would be called Every Ocean Tells a Story.
For the time being, their most recent album is 2013's Ice on the Dune. They also released some music on last year's Dumb and Dumber To soundtrack.
