Emma Bunton Confirms Spice Girls Reunion Tour Is Still On: "Of Course It's Happening"

Emma Bunton (a.k.a. Baby Spice) has reassured fans that the Spice Girls reunion tour is going ahead, despite a recent public feud between Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) and Melanie Brown (Scary Spice).

Earlier this week, Bunton appeared as a guest on a taping of The Jonathan Ross Show that will air tomorrow (April 13), and she insisted that the tour is going ahead as planned and that rehearsals will start next week.

"Of course it's happening, we are starting rehearsals on Monday!" she told the U.K. television host [via NME].

"We have all chatted about it," she continued. "Listen, we had fun back in the day. I didn't know anything else but you know, we are all good, we're starting Monday, we can't wait, we've all been chatting, it's all good."

She's referencing, of course, the recent war of words between Halliwell and Brown, in which the latter insisted she'd had an affair with the former during the girl group's 1990s heyday. Halliwell, though, refuted the claim and called the allegations "untrue" and "hurtful."

Regardless, it sounds like the Spice Girls will begin preparing for tour in just a few days, before embarking across Ireland and the U.K. next month.
