Eminem's long-running rap crew D12 haven't released an album in a decade, but it seems that they have something in the works, since reports point to the group returning to the studio with Eminem.

Mark Bass — who has frequently worked with Eminem and D12, and co-runs of Detroit's F.B.T. recording studio — revealed to the Detroit Free Press that he has been mixing new tracks from D12. Three of the songs are apparently with Eminem.

That's all the information with currently have about the new material, so it's unclear what D12 have planned. Considering Bass's long history with Eminem, however, it's probably a safe bet that this vague report is reliable.

D12's most recent album was 2004's D12 World. Since then, Proof was fatally shot in 2006 and the group have lost a couple of members. They have released a few mixtapes over the years, but Eminem has had minimal involvement.
