The 16-year anniversary of Eminem's iconic album The Slim Shady LP took place last month, and to mark the occasion, the Detroit MC has announced plans to re-release the album on cassette tape.
Released in 1999, the album's original release also included cassette tapes, some of which have recently fetched between $25 and $30 Canadian on sites such as Discogs. An edited version was also released on cassette for those in search of a clean, wholesome listening experience.
While there's no set release date for the new edition, Eminem's website currently prompts listeners to sign up for early access as well as exclusive merchandise. You can give the man your email for further updates on the release here.
