Eminem Asks Vivek Ramaswamy to Stop Using His Music in Presidential Campaign

The Rap God is not afraid

After taking a staunchly anti-Trump stance — complete with a diss freestyle — during his presidency, rap legend Eminem is lashing out at another Republican presidential candidate.

Businessman-turned-presidential-hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy has not only been walking out to Eminem's 2002 hit "Lose Yourself" at public appearances, but he's also all but discredited himself by performing it on stage in one of the most bone-chilling karaoke open mics of all time.

It's safe to speculate that once Eminem saw the video, he scrambled to the phone and contacted his lawyers immediately. Daily Mail revealed today that Broadcast Music, Inc. sent Ramaswamy a cease-and-desist letter last week, ordering him to stop using "Lose Yourself" during his campaign.

Ramaswamy has been firing back on social media, re-sharing a post calling Eminem a dork.

Somehow, this is not the first time Eminem has found himself in the very niche situation of engaging in a legal battle with politics over the use of "Lose Yourself." He also sued New Zealand's National Party after they ripped off the song in their 2017 campaign.
