Emerging Music Festival Abitibi-Témiscamingue Brings Out Owen Pallett, Mark Sultan, Daniel Bélanger

Rouyn-Noranda, QC's Emerging Music Festival Abitibi-Témiscamingue is celebrating its 12th anniversary this summer, and the organizers behind FME are playing up that fact by unveiling the first dozen artists attached to the outdoor event, including Owen Pallett.

This year's four-day festival, running August 28 to 31, will be headlined by the celebrated In Conflict composer, with other artist announcements including one-man garage band Mark Sultan, Quebec singer-songwriter Daniel Bélanger, Acadian ensemble Les Hay Babies, metal vets Slaves on Dope, folk artist Jimmy Hunt, rappers the Posterz, post-rock units PyPy and Totorro, Phillippe B, Belgium's the Feather, and French trio Laetitia Shériff.

The full list of artists performing at this year's FME will be unveiled July 15. Tickets, meanwhile, will go on sale July 22. You can get more info about this year's fest here.
