As we've discovered only weeks into the coronavirus pandemic, celebrities coming together to help the cause can be more cringeworthy than comforting. Now, Elton John and a host of other notable names will look to be more of the latter with a relief concert this weekend.

This Sunday (March 29), Sir Elton will host the iHeart Living Room Concert for America, an hour-long commercial free "living room concert" that will find stars delivering at-home performances in tribute to health professionals, first responders and frontline workers fighting the spread of COVID-19.

Artists involved include Billie Eilish, Alicia Keys, Backstreet Boys, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong, Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw and more. All performances were shot with the artists' personal cellphones, cameras and audio equipment "to ensure the health and safety of all involved."

Viewers can tune into the benefit concert on FOX at 9 p.m. ET, while iHeartMedia will broadcast the event on radio stations nationwide and through its app.

Musicians at all levels are turning to livestreaming as COVID-19 continues to upend the music industry. Follow Exclaim!'s list of Canadian music and film events affected by coronavirus.
