Published Jun 30, 2009Exclaim! readers' favourite roots band of 2008, Elliot Brood, are planning a string of live dates in their home province of Ontario and west. It all starts on July 1 at Victoria's huge Canada Day celebrations and continues on through October.
During the trek, the self-proclaimed Toronto "blackgrass" band will play some summer festivals, as well as bill a chunk of the dates "The Future Ghosts Tour," starting September 19. The same jaunt will also take the group down to the States to coincide with the early October U.S. release of their most recent album, Mountain Meadows, on Six Shooter Records.
