West Coast R&B crooner Eliza Smith dropped her latest album, Paradigm, only a week ago (March 4) through labelmate Josh Martinez's own Camobear Records imprint. Now, the up-and-coming hip-hop-inspired soul singer has unveiled the first video from her recently released LP: "Karma."
The lead single from Smith's new album, "Karma" starts off with an ex-lover leaving a regretful message on the protagonist's voicemail. But as the video progresses, the couple's passion heats up, with Canadian rapper Kyprios playing the role of the abusive ex-boyfriend and providing dark and demented lyrics over top of Smith's powerful call and response.
