Various 'Electric Voice Compilation' (album stream)
Halifax's Electric Voice Records announced a double-LP compilation a few months back, and although the original spring release was delayed, vinyl copies of the 18-song collection have now started shipping to stores. They should arrive by next week, and for now, you can preview the Electric Voice Compilation in full below.

Among the artists who contributed are lo-fi kingpins Ariel Pink & R. Stevie Moore, plus d'Eon, Femminielli, Grand Trine, Soft Metals, Automelodi and more. These acts will help Electric Voice to fulfil its mission, which, according to a press release, is to "archive the current state of affairs in the underground world of pop music."

Go here to see a newly unveiled video for Horrid Red's song "Colored Lights Part II," which appears on the album as the closing track. Be sure to stay tuned for more announcements from Electric Voice, since the label is apparently "prepping a full-length collaboration between Moore and Ariel Pink."
