El-P Says Run the Jewels Will Release 'RTJ4' Next Summer

The rap duo "are fully back on it and psyched to get it to you all when it's ready"

El-P has shed some light on the next album from his powerhouse rap duo Run the Jewels. If you had been hoping for another "Christmas fucking miracle," that sadly won't be happening this year, since RTJ4 won't be arriving until at least next year.

In a series of tweets, El-P revealed that busy schedules had got in the way of them completing their fourth album. On the bright side, he and Killer Mike are "fully back on it and psyched to get it to you all when it's ready," which will likely be in summer 2019.

Here's what he had to say:
Even though Run the Jewels 4 won't arrive in 2018, the duo have had a productive year. They collaborated with BOOTS and (their tour-mateLorde, acted as Record Store Day ambassadors, and released a song for the Venom soundtrack.
