Efrim Manuel Menuck & Kevin Doria Capture the Demise of the World in "We Will" Video

BY Sarah MurphyPublished May 23, 2019

Godspeed You! Black Emperor's Efrim Manuel Menuck and Total Life's Kevin Doria recently joined forces for the collaborative album are SING SINCK, SING, and now lead track "We Will" has been paired with matching visuals.

The clip was edited by Philippe Leonard and is described by Menuck as "a short thing about human calamity, made from detritus and mostly stolen from strangers' cellphones."

It features troubling footage of tumbling avalanches, raging wildfires, air strikes and floods because, as Menuck puts it, "we are all living thru heavy times."

It might not generate a whole lot of optimism, but the video is certainly a collection of powerful images.
