Echo Lake Reveal Debut Album for Slumberland

London, UK's Echo Lake haven't yet released their debut LP, but the dreamy pop act are poised to make a splash on this side of the pond thanks to a new record deal with Slumberland. The band will release their album Wild Peace through the iconic indie imprint on June 26, with the European release being handled by No Pain in Pop the day before.

This album follows the band's 2011 debut EP, Young Silence, and a press release promises that Wild Peace marries "huge, dense production" with songs that "float like the densest of mirages, maintaining a majestic indie-rock classicism." It's said to be a "uniquely direct and committed take on the melodic side of psychedelia's pop frontier."

Sonic touchstones reportedly include Britpop, Arcade Fire, Real Estate, Cocteau Twins and Spiritualized, while band member Thom Hill's production style is described as "Brian Wilson-meets-Galaxie 500."
