Published Feb 03, 2015UK electronic musician East India Youth (real name William Doyle) recently signed to XL Recordings, announcing his label debut with the forthcoming Culture of Volume.
Now, he's offered up some visuals for new track "Carousel." The song is a minimalist, melancholy number that showcases Doyle's gloomy vocals atop cinematic synths and strings.
As for the video, it features Doyle taking on a literal interpretation of the song's title, spinning on the spot. The black-and-white shots eventually switch over to bursts of hazy blue and red lighting, with Doyle's face flickering in and out of focus.
Culture of Volume arrives on April 7 via XL. Watch the clip for "Carousel" below.
