After axing a run of shows in January following the passing of this father, Earl Sweatshirt has now cancelled a string of European dates.

The cancellation was announced ahead of appearances at Field Day in London yesterday (June 3), in addition to scheduled stops at Dublin's Forbidden Fruit festival and Manchester's Parklife festival.

Earl's representative's sent Pitchfork the following statement regarding the cancellations:

Earl is battling anxiety and depression which has been compounded by the grief from the recent passing of his father. He thought he would be ready to perform but simply is not yet able to. He would like to apologize to his fans and promises to be back as soon as he is able to.

Earl last delivered I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside in 2015.
