Eamon McGrath to Release Peace Maker This Summer

Published Jul 6, 2010

Toronto, ON rocker Eamon McGrath has announced a release date for his second album, Peace Maker. The disc will see the light of day on July 20 through White Whale Records.

With that sexually charged image above serving as its cover, Peace Maker comes a year after McGrath's debut album, 13 Songs of Whiskey and Light, which was actually an anthology that featured material from the trashy punk/drunk rock/tortured folk soul's large catalogue of 18 smaller releases. For the new disc, McGrath spent six days recording in Vancouver's JC/DC Studios with Dave Carswell of the Evaporators and John Collins of the New Pornographers.

Check out two new songs - "Dark End of the Street" and "Cut Knife City Blues" - at McGrath's MySpace page now.
