Guitar whiz kid Dustin Wong cut his teeth with busy riffs in bands like Ponytail and Ecstatic Sunshine before breaking out as a solo artist and topping our list of great records you may have missed with 2010's Infinite Love. Thankfully, that wasn't the last we'll hear from Wong's fretwork, as the guitarist has revealed plans for a new album.
The new release is called Dreams Say, View, Create, Shadow Leads, and as a press release explains, "The former Ponytail guitarist takes listeners on another trip through the intricately colourful wonderland that Dustin creates with only his guitar and a bank of effects pedals."
Dreams Say, View, Create, Shadow Leads will be released on February 21 via Thrill Jockey. Wong performed album track "Evening Curves Straight" in Japan earlier this year. Check it out below.
