Though Matthew Mondanile is currently on the road supporting his latest Ducktails LP, St. Catherine, the musician is already plotting his next step. Though details are pending, he's offered up a taste of what's to come via a streets-walkin' music video for new tune "Don't Want to Let You Know."
Filmed today (November 22) in St. Gallen, Switzerland, the simple clips finds Mondanile strutting around a Swiss neighbourhood, smoking a cigarette when not offering up a few coolly-sung lines. Also on display: dude's high-functioning transition lenses.
As for the track, it offers a smooth shellacking of synth, a bump-and-bop bass line and plenty of 'lax lyrics. Of note, Mondanile "don't want to let you know" about all the fun he's having. All told, offering up a film of your at-present activity is a weird way to go about this.
