Drunken Sufis

"Q^Q^Q^" (video)

Outsider noise rock troupe Drunken Sufis are gearing up to release their sixth album Cotton Candy Cluster Bombs. Ahead of its arrival, the Brooklyn-based group have created videos for each of the LP's 26 songs. Today, Exclaim! is happy to premiere the clip for "Q^Q^Q^."

The minute-long song offers noisy warbles, rattling percussion and playful guitars. After a long build-up, it eventually settles on a janky no-wave groove. Suiting the song nicely, the video features reverse footage of toy soldiers lit on fire. As such, we see them come back to life, so to speak.
