The Drums Map Out North American Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jul 11, 2014

Indie pop act the Drums had their share of problems around their first album, but they still managed to power through and release Portamento in 2011. It's been a long break since then, but it looks as though the group may be back.

A new, brief video has surfaced called "Something Is Coming Soon." The title alone is enough to suggest that, well, something is coming soon. Fortunately, they've offered a little more info.

The group are gearing up to release a new single called "Magic Mountain" later this summer. That will be followed by a hefty North American tour.

The run of dates, which can be viewed below, include Canadian stops in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.

Thanks to Consequence of Sound for the tip.
