Dream Tiger

"A Lover's Regret"

Why? multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Liz Wolf is gearing up for a run of tour dates with the rest of the band later this month, but is also keeping her eyes set on an upcoming solo set as Dream Tiger. It's unclear just when she'll deliver an LP in full, but you can get an idea of what to expect via first single "A Lover's Regret."

The song is a slow-burning electro buzzer, with a series of speaker-panning synth tones and percussive chimes underscoring Wolf's hushed vocal approach. As the title implies, Wolf's words home in on a lacklustre love affair she can't quite quit ("I still want your heart / Clever how you've hid the key"). You can check it out below.

Wolf wrote on her Facebook page that she has "met someone who has an interest in the record and who would like to help me make this legit," but details on the deal have yet to arrive.

Why?'s tour, meanwhile, has them hitting up Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret March 2. You can catch the rest of the dates here.
