Though he's still making waves with the recent commercial release of his mixtape, 1977, R&B crooner The-Dream is hard at work on his next LP. The formerly-titled Love IV, now has a new name and release date: Fourplay is now due May 7.

As Billboard reports, the crooner was cornered by journalists after picking up a Grammy last night (February 10) for his work on Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, "No Church in the Wild," where he revealed the release date and new name.

He also promised that the first single from the album, "Slow It Down," will drop Thursday (February 14). He also mentioned that he'd be joining Kanye West in Paris to work on his long-awaited follow-up to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. No word on a release date there.

In the meantime, expect Fourplay on May 7, courtesy of Def Jam.
