Drake has begun the rollout work for Views from the 6 with a new single and a cryptic ad campaign in Toronto, but his right hand collaborator has offered up some insight into what exactly listeners can expect from the highly anticipated album.

Speaking with the New York Times before a studio session this month, producer Noah "40" Shebib gave some brief details about the pair's current work. "I just make 50 ideas in one day," he told the paper. "As soon as one of those ideas gets [Drake's] attention, we start heading that way."

Shebib continued, "It's going to be what everybody expects and wants from Drake and from us. A lot of introspection, very vivid. He's discovering new flows, new cadences, new patterns."

But what about the "Toronto sound" the two worked hard in establishing? "I'm trying to find ways to pull more untraditional sounds in, to push the boundaries a little further," he revealed. "Something about it should be special."

Views from the 6 is set to arrive in April of this year. Take a listen to "Summer Sixteen" through Apple Music here.
