Drake Surprises Raptors Fans with Outdoor Performance

In a move celebrating both his just-released VIEWS album and his role as the Toronto Raptors' global ambassador, Drake surprised hip-hop and basketball fans tonight (April 29) with an outdoor performance in front of Air Canada Centre.

Coinciding with game six in the Raptors' first-round playoff battle against the Indiana Pacers, Drake stood outside of the sports venue to deliver a quick set for the faithful. The local champ sent out his love to his hometown after performing If You're Reading This It's Too Late single "Energy," telling the crowd: "I love everybody in this city. I love this city. I'll die for this city."

Drake added: "It's the greatest place in the world, with the greatest people in the world."

Sadly, the Raps lost the game, with the 101-83 defeat sending the playoff series to game seven on Sunday (May 1).

All the same, you'll find some fan-shot footage of Drake's energetic outdoor performance down below.
