Published Aug 26, 2013While we wait for his Nothing Was the Same LP to drop on September 24, Toronto hip-hop great Drake is facing a lawsuit from his former stylist.
According to TMZ, Drizzy's former stylist Michael Raphael is claiming that the rapper owes him $76,490 for consulting, travel and shopping expenses accrued as of December of 2012.
Raphael was hired in August of 2012 to help with styling, clothing and graphic design for Drake and OVO, along with brand direction and photography, along with other tasks. Raphael was taken on board for a monthly fee of $39,583. Who knew it cost that much to stack up on Cosby sweaters and tinted sunglasses?
Michael Raphael is suing for the full amount he is owed. A rep for Drake has not responded to the allegations as of yet.
