Drake Recruits His Dad to Guest on 'Nothing Was the Same'
Drake has already rustled up an impressive list of collaborators for his album Nothing Was the Same, with reports indicating that Jay Z, Lil Wayne and Hudson Mohawke will all make appearances. It's now been revealed that the deluxe version of album will feature an additional noteworthy contributor: Drake father, Dennis Graham.

This news comes via XXL/Word on Road. In an interview, Drizzy explained that his dad appears on a bonus cut called "Heat of the Moment." It's not clear whether this will be a sample, (à la Drake's previous track "Jodeci Back," which also featured his dad) or if this is full-blown feature appearance.

It would make sense if this is an original feature, since Drake talked about his father's musical background. He said, "All he wants to do is go to Beale Street in Memphis and play music. He's rediscovered his passion for music and for being a musician."

Nothing Is the Same is due out on September 24. Meanwhile, Drake is faced with a lawsuit from his former stylist.
